Greens, Edinburgh

The hotel had spacious rooms with a dining area, but we faced water issues on our second night. The ambiance was light and airy, perfect for a family stay. Prices were reasonable given the experience, but there were some inconveniences.

The hotel is located in a quiet area not very far from Princess Street, offering a serene setting for a stay. The rooms, while adequate and clean, had some issues with neighboring walls encroaching. The service was friendly but lacked a bit of formal greeting. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and proximity to the city center. The dining options were varied and satisfying. The lack of facilities for a large coach party was noticeable.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. During the Fringe Festival, the hotel lacked basic amenities like a shower, offering only a bath. As a young couple, we paid a very low price, and the room looked okay. However, the lack of a shower was inconvenient, and the hotel's value for money was questionable.

Our stay at Greens was fantastic! The rooms were absolutely fantastic, very large and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise considering the low price we paid. The neighbor's extended wall was a bit of a downside, but overall, the room was comfortable and clean.
